Step by step procedure

Welcome to the Somfy how-to video series. Today I’m going to show you a few simple steps you can use to adjust the default lower position for your motorized cellular shade.

Remember that if this shade is operated as part of a group, unplug all of the other shades in the group before moving on to the first step.

To start, get the remote that operates the shade. Press down and release.

Allow the shade to reach its preset lower position. Once the shade stops, press and hold up and down simultaneously until the shade jogs, which is a brief up and down movement of the shade.

To protect the shade and to prevent damage while in this adjustment mode, the shade will only move while up or down is being pressed.

Adjust your lower position by pressing and holding up or down until the shade moves to your new desired lower position.

Once the shade is where you want it, press and hold “my” until the shade jogs.

If the shade cannot reach your desired lowered position, contact your window covering retailer.

The new lower position is now set. That’s all it takes to adjust the lower position of your cellular shade, but remember, only adjust it if it’s completely necessary.
